The renowned Chef Ambrosio Saavedra is in charge of our exquisite cuisine, both traditional and international.

The ingredients are grown in the orchard of the hacienda to guarantee their freshness, but most important all our produces are chemicals-free. La Sauceda banquets catering offers a service of outstanding quality.

Hacienda El Carmen Hotel & Spa offers different locations for all kinds of special events such as weddings, parties, baptisms, conventions, etc.

We have several service options ranging from the adaptation of its beautiful gardens to the use of their all-purpose halls.

Enjoy our wonderful Mexican colonial settings, with their courtyards and gardens that form a delicate balance to create a simple life environment which permeates every corner of the hacienda.

Award-winning gastronomy (national and international):

  • Conejo adobado: Marinated in a thick spicy sauce, with a side dish of purslane and mint essence.
  • Mole: Traditional thick spice sauce.
  • Pechuga de pollo con salsa de mango: Chicken breast with mango sauce.
  • Lomito de cerdo: Pork back served with pasilla chili sauce and a side dish tender corn .
  • Timbal de pozolillo con poblano y salsa de esencia de orégano: Small timbal containing a thin soup with corn grains, poblano chili and marjoram.
